I am the Director of Active Learning with the Physics department at UW-Madison. I am a regular instructor of Physics 103 & 104 (General Physics I & II).
My most recent work has centered on redesigning the introductory physics lab experience to incorporate elements of design-based learning supported by whiteboards.
I am also interested in physics teacher preparation and ways to enhance formative assessment through digital tools.
