MST work

I have a number of projects involved in Fusion research on the MST reversed field pinch experiment. First, I am involved with experiments on using microwaves for heating and driving current the reversed field pinch. A summary of the proposed research in this area is described at Electron Bernstein Waves. I am also involved in data analysis and interpretation of measurements; in particular, I pursue research on determination of the internal current profile and inductive electric field profile from a variety of measurements, and techniques for accurately assessing the energy confinement quality of the RFP (measurement of energy transport).
